Lucky C Stables is an active show barn, participating in over 100 days of showing throughout the year.  With a diversified staff, we offer showing starting on a local level all the way through USEF/USHJA rated shows. 

Lucky C is also the home to an active equestrian team competiting in Intercollegiate shows. 

Although showing is not a requirement here at Lucky C, we encourage all our clients to give it a try! We have our own six horse and two horse trailers to add to the flexibility of the show scheduling.

We primarily compete on the rated show circuit, competing at shows anywhere between Vermont and Florida. For many years our students have qualified for and come away with ribbons in prestigious national finals such as: 

- USET Talent Search Finals

- Maclay Regionals & Nationals

- Marshall and Sterling Finals  

- PHA Medal Finals

- USEF Pony Finals

- USEF Medal Finals

- Connecticut Hunter Jumper Medal Finals

 - New England Medal Finals

- FWPHA Medal Finals

- Zone Hunter Finals

- Intercollegiate Nationals

We qualify for these national finals by competing at various horse shows such as WEF, Littlewood, Garden State, HITS (Ocala, Culpeper & Saugerties), Syracuse, Saratoga, Ox Ridge, Old Salem, Vermont and Gardnertown to name a few!

For 8 years and counting, Lucky C Stables has run a 4 show series right at home.  The LCS circuit show is tons of fun equipped with a year end banquet filled with great food, awards and fun (there's a DJ!).  Each show offers a Lucky C Stables sponsored Mini Maclay class which allows riders to qualify for an end of the year final where fun awards are given out.  In the past two years we've also become affiliated with the Marshall & Sterling organization as well as the USHJA & Fairfield-Westchester PHA Medal programs.
